So, I know I've been neglecting this blog and not posting at all on here for the past month.. and I'm sorry! I was really busy with finals and then wanted to enjoy my winter break without worrying about too much, so I didn't post. However, right before the year ends, I wanted to document the highlights of my year. Obviously so much more has happened, but these are the moments that I was able to capture on camera. This year was incredible, and I am so grateful and fortunate that life just continues to get better and better.

Sorry I haven't been as active as usual on here, I've just been busy with all types of things! However, I found some time and decided to make this week's Music Monday about another fellow bronco here at Cal Poly Pomona. His name is Nick Lopez, he is a first-year Music Industry Studies major here (just like myself) and is not only an awesome person, but an amazingly talented individual.
Nick Lopez is a singer-songwriter and recording artist who has worked with RCA, Sony, and much more, currently based in Los Angeles. His experience, though, isn't the only thing that's so great about him.. he's got a full length studio album that's honestly such a good piece of work. You can listen to the album here.
My favorite song happens to be "Has Been", a song with a great, catchy melody and also meaningful lyrics.

For this week's Fashion Friday, I wanted to lean more towards the art side of this category. On Cal Poly Pomona's campus, there's this incredible art exhibit, the W. Keith and Janet Kelogg Art Gallery, that features exhibits of local artists, students, and in this case, works of faculty members of the Art Department on campus. In this post I wanted to feature the amazing works I saw.. they were so great I literally attended the gallery 3 times in a row. Sure, the gallery is not necessarily large, however, the quality of each piece was exceptional. I'm so excited to share these photos with you!
Anthony Acock - Untitled, 2014
This piece was totally my favorite piece. It took up an entire wall and it was honestly just so amazing to observe. Acock says that he has been doing graffiti for about two decades and it's evident. On the side of the piece are the cans that were used to produce the art and also one of his book/portfolios. Such an amazing design, I absolutely love it.
