Hey everyone! For my first Fashion Friday post, I wanted to post about my top/favorite fashion models. These models are my favorite not only because of their appearance, but also in their ability to be versatile, and in how they brand themselves/expand their careers. They aren't in any particular order.
Cara Delevingne
21 Years Old
Open any fashion magazine, and it's highly likely you'll find some designer campaign featuring this beauty. She has an unconventional look, but those signature eyebrows and alluring eyes seem to attract designers from all facets. Along with her great looks is an awesome personality - she's really the full package. Watch any video with her in it and she'll most likely make you laugh. She's got this unique look and there's no surprise she's a a huge rising star within the industry. She's one of the most famous models on Instagram, hangs out with celebrities such as Rihanna, and walks runways for all the biggest designers at the biggest fashion weeks. Cara's also been featured in the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show. I find it interesting that she comes from a wealthy family, with her father being a huge property developer. Plus, Cara's from London which also makes me love her a little more. Can't wait to see how much bigger her career gets!
Naomi Campbell
44 Years Old
What kind of list would this be without THE supermodel, THE queen of the runway, Naomi Campbell. Apart of the elite original supermodel group, Naomi's name has been in the name of fashion for over 20 years. She's been featured in every big fashion designer's campaigns, been the muse of a ton of designers, and been on the cover of Vogue probably more than any other fashion model. Though she is known notoriously for her erratic behavior and diva attitude, that's all what makes me love her even more. Aside from her modeling career, she is a ridiculously smart woman with a very business-oriented mind. Her show, The Face, aired in 5 countries, where she is the main host in all the countries, has become very successful and is growing with every season. Naomi's 44 years old, and nothing seems to be slowing her down. Naomi is a fashion legend and will forever be one of the original supermodels.

Francisco Lachowski
23 Years Old
Francisco was one of the very first models I ever saw upon joining tumblr, (I mean, how could you not? He was everywhere) and I've always looked up to him. He's really young, but has successfully made his way into huge fashion campaigns, and is one of the best known male models out in the industry. He has not only a very commercial look, (he's done stuff for H&M, Armani Exchange) but also a high-fashion look (Givenchy, Versace) and that versatility is so important in becoming a successful model in the cut-throat industry. It's safe to say I wish I not only looked like him, but also had his career. He's a great young model and I can't wait to see him continue to progress in his career.
33 Years Old
One of my all-time favorites, Adriana Lima. She's incredible, and I've been obsessed with her for probably 4 years now. She's not only the Queen of Victoria's Secret, but one of the highest paid models in the world and a mother of two. She's modeled since she was 15, and every photo I see of her elicits that experience and beauty. Her eyes are stunning and can capture the attention of anyone. Adriana's also been in so many Superbowl commercials that have grown to be iconic in their own right. I love that she's not only a lingerie model for Victoria's Secret, but is also a high fashion model who walks in huge designer's runway shows, a cover girl of so many Vogue magazines, and a model with tons of commercial appeal. I've seen her in so many campaigns every single season, and I don't expect to see her slowing down anytime soon. She's amazing!
Kasia Struss
26 Years Old
Kasia Struss is one of those models who is completely underrated. She has been featured in Versace couture campaigns, walked the runways of the biggest designers, and has been the face of various beauty companies. She has this beauty that's almost unconventional.. yet conventional. Her jaw line/facial structure are definitely her signature and I can spot her on any runway easily. She's one of my favorites because she just has a great look, walk, and very much so is extremely successful as a model.
Edward Wilding
20 Years OldEdward Wilding is one my favorite male models because he's so young but has been in various huge designer campaigns. I first found him through the Versace campaign where he fit the gladiator classic-versace look so well. Ever since then, I've been following his career and seeing him walk virtually every huge runway there is for menswear. He's got an excellent look, walk, and commercial appeal. I'm excited to see what else he's got ahead of him!
Barbara Palvin
20 Years Old
One of the first models I ever got into - Barbara Palvin. I remember first seeing her and falling in love; she's both a fantastic fashion model and commercial model. She has that look that's very young but sexy and edgy. She was featured in Victoria's Secret when she was only 18 years old, and that's a huge deal for a young female model. Commercially, she's been very successful, and many tumblr users/teenagers are aware of her modeling campaigns, and that just blows her career up even more. Not to mention she's been in so many beauty campaigns, such as for L'Oreal Paris and Chanel. I have no doubts Barbara's career will begin to grow, and I'll definitely continue to track her success.
41 Years Old
When it comes to models who have developed their career into something massive, Heidi Klum is certainly one of the models at the top of the list. Her modeling career, though it wasn't necessarily in the "high fashion" field, she has been on so many covers of Sports Illustrated, been in a ton of Victoria's Secret Fashion Shows, and has established various clothing lines not only for women, but for children as well. We can't forget the huge success that is Project Runway, which is currently on it's 13th season! Heidi continues to remain relevant in the fashion world, despite her age, and at this rate, it seems like she's only getting bigger.
Candice Swanepoel
25 Years Old
When it comes to supermodels on the rise, Candice Swanepoel is at the top of the list. She's all over Victoria's Secret campaigns, and if you open any fashion magazine, you're bound to find multiple designer campaigns featuring her. She's literally everywhere, and she seems to continue to grow massively more and more. She has a very commercial look but can easily transform into a very high fashion look, and that works extremely well in her favor. Her incredible body is also commendable, and I look forward to whatever's next in her massive career.
